■On June 26th, 2022, the Brazilian Embassy in China held the "Brazilian Contemporary Image Illustration" video art exchange activity in Beijing, and the Chinese Magic Finger Elves were invited to attend for the first time and act as the guest performers. The appearance of the Chinese Magic Finger Wizard brought us a rich experience of the beauty of the flow of music and images in the sound of the piano.
Firstly, Mr. Li Muzheng presented the famous piece "The Dance of the Wild Bees" by Russian composer Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov and Chopin's beautiful and poetic "Nocturne in E-flat Major".
Then, Zhan Zizhen, aged 5, performed Chopin's last composition before his death, the Puppy Dance.
Yang Junxi played the classic children's piece "The Red Star Shines Brightly" adapted by Mr. Chu Wanghua, and Chopin's "Magnificat" in F major composed in 1838. He teamed up with his good brother, Li Mu Zheng, to present Schubert's famous "Army March".

João Batista (Ma Jialiang), Minister, Embassy of Brazil in China
Mr. João Batista, Minister of the Brazilian Embassy in China, praised the wonderful performance of the Chinese Magic Finger Elves. Interestingly, it was Mr. João Batista's birthday that day, so China's Finger Wizard team member Yang Junxi temporarily performed a happy birthday song for him, which was very touching.
The exhibition of Brazilian short films at UCCA aims to construct an atlas of contemporary Brazilian images through the diverse themes depicted by the filmmakers in their works, and present it to the Chinese audience. This is not only an export of Brazilian culture, but also a two-way import, a collision and exchange between different arts in different cultural backgrounds. Although China and Brazil are geographically far apart, they are very similar in terms of sensitivity to life and expression of emotions, and video and piano have become an important part of the humanistic exchanges between China and Brazil.
Looking forward to the future, China Magic Finger Wizard and the Brazilian Embassy will cooperate again, injecting new vitality into the artistic exchanges between China and Brazil!
