The New Year's Concert opened with Johann Strauss Jr.'s "Waltz of Spring", a gorgeous and agile melody like the breath of spring, which also injected infinite vitality into the subsequent concerts. Classical pieces such as "The Rose of the South", "Hungarian Dance No. 5" and "Ice Skating Waltz" also filled the venue with a joyful New Year's atmosphere. The highlight of the program, the Yellow River Piano Concerto (4th movement), was performed by China's Magic Finger Wizard, Tang Jue Chen, in collaboration with the China Film Orchestra. As we all know, the "Yellow River Cantata" was composed by the highly respected people's musician Xian Xinghai, and the "Yellow River" Piano Concerto was adapted from the "Yellow River Cantata" and completed in 1969. China's Magic Finger Wizard Tang Juchen's tacit cooperation with the conductor and the orchestra brought out the magnificent picture of the anti-Japanese soldiers and civilians galloping on horses and horses to kill the enemy and defend the Yellow River, and at the end of the piece, the sound of the aftermath lingered around the ears and resounded in the music hall for a long time.

The Yellow River concerto contains a kind of shocking "national soul", which has inspired several generations of Chinese people to strive for progress, Liu Shikun, Shi Shucheng, Lang Lang and other Chinese pianists of all generations have played this concerto. For half a century, its epic structure, magnificent technique, rich layers and magnificent mood have made the "Yellow River" Concerto a household name and a classic masterpiece.
